When an event truly stands out, it’s often because the food does too. That’s where 3G Event Catering makes all the difference. Serving Perthshire, Tayside, Angus, and Fife, this award-winning company has built a name on fresh flavours, flawless service, and a genuine passion for making every occasion special.

A Team That Cares

At the heart of 3G is Chef George Urquhart – a three-time gold-medal winner and MasterChef: The Professionals participant. With decades of experience, George leads his team with the belief that “every caterer should go that extra mile for their clients – and at 3G, we always do.”

That dedication shows in every event they handle. From large corporate gatherings to intimate family celebrations, 3G’s chefs and service staff bring enthusiasm, precision, and warmth to every job.

Food for Every Occasion

Whether it’s a wedding, conference, birthday, or private dinner, 3G can design a menu that suits both the mood and the guest list. They cater for indoor and outdoor events across the UK, offering everything from elegant canapés and hot buffets to bespoke fine-dining experiences served right in your home.

Clients regularly praise the company’s flexibility and attention to detail. As one customer put it, “Excellent buffet food, everything was delicious – a beautiful spread, reasonably priced, delivered straight to my door.” Another added, “They catered brilliantly for gluten-free, dairy-free, and vegetarian guests.”

Proven Quality

3G’s excellence has earned them multiple national and regional honours, including Caterer of the Year UK and Café of the Year 2024 – Central Scotland. Their consistent wins at the Scottish Café and Bakery Awards and Scotland’s Business Awards confirm their position among the country’s top caterers.

More Than Just Catering

Beyond events, 3G also brings its expertise to cooking demonstrations such as those at Taste Perthshire, where Chef George showcases the craft and creativity that define the brand. With a growing fleet and an expanding team, 3G continues to serve new communities while keeping its personal touch.

From the first meeting to the final course, 3G Event Catering focuses on one thing: making your event shine. Their mix of professional skill, friendly service, and beautifully prepared food ensures that every guest leaves impressed and every client relaxed.
