Best Youth-Led Environmental Organization - N'Djamena 2026

ISEC CHAD | Turning Youth Leadership into Measurable Climate Action The International Student Environmental Coalition – Chad (ISEC CHAD) is a youth-led civil society organization advancing climate action, environmental education, and sustainable development across Chad and the wider African region. Rooted in local realities and connected to global climate priorities, ISEC CHAD equips young people with the knowledge, skills, and networks to influence environmental governance and drive community-led solutions. Its flagship initiative, the Academy of Climate Governance and Activism (AGAC), was designed to empower 300 young leaders through 32 hours of training across 16 strategic themes, including climate governance, advocacy, climate finance, and community engagement. Complementary initiatives promote environmental literacy, youth participation, and sustainable practices. ISEC CHAD’s impact extends beyond awareness-raising: it builds leadership capacity, strengthens civic participation, and connects local priorities with national and international climate processes. Through strategic partnerships and evidence-informed programming, the organization is helping shape a generation capable of translating climate ambition into practical, lasting change.
